1 large egg
2 tbsp soy sauce
Oil, for frying
Sauce, optional
Ā¼ cup mayonnaise
Ā¼ cup sweet chilli sauce
2 tbsp sriracha
SERVING SUGGESTION:
Fresh coriander
METHOD
Crush the Layās Potato Chips Chinese 5 Spice Flavour in their bag until you have 2 cups of crushed chips. Set 1 cups aside for coating.
In a large bowl, combine the chicken mince, egg, 2 cups crushed Layās Potato Chips and soy sauce. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
Using your hands, shape the mixture into small meatballs, about the size of 2 tablespoons.
Place the remaining 1 cup of crushed chips in a shallow dish. Roll each meatball in the crushed chips to coat evenly.
Heat oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Add the meatballs in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pan.
Fry the meatballs for about 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are golden brown and cooked through.
In a small bowl, mix together the mayo, sweet chili sauce, and sriracha and set aside.
Transfer the fried meatballs to a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil. Serve them hot with the optional dipping sauce on the side. For the ultimate snack experience, arrange the meatballs on a platter with other Asian-inspired snacks, and ENJOY!
