INGREDIENTS
š 1 cup SPAR Freshline BABY SPINACH
š 1Ā½ blocks SPAR SOUTH AFRICAN FETA CHEESE PLAIN
š Ā½ cup grated mozzarella cheese
š 650g SPAR Select LEAN BEEF MINCE
š Ā¼ cup mayonnaise, plus more for servings
š 1 tbsp beef seasoning
š 5 burger buns, halved and toasted
burger toppings of your choice

METHOD
For the stuffing:
1. On a clean cutting board, finely chop the SPAR Freshline BABY SPINACH and SPAR SOUTH AFRICAN FETA CHEESE PLAIN into bite-sized pieces. *Chefās tip: Any flavour of SPAR Feta Cheese can be used!
2. Transfer the spinach and feta into a medium-sized mixing bowl. Add the grated cheese and mix until well combined.
For the patties:
3. Place the SPAR Select LEAN BEEF MINCE into a large mixing bowl, add the beef seasoning and mayonnaise. Mix until well incorporated.
4. Section the mince into 5 large balls. Flatten the balls into the palm of your hand. Spoon a portion of the spinach and feta stuffing into the centre.
5. Use your hands to shape and cover the stuffing with mince. Repeat this process with the remaining prepped sections. *Chefās tip: The patties can also be made the day before and refrigerated until needed.
6. Heat a large non-stick pan on high heat. Gently lay the stuffed patties into the pan, seal side down. Cook for 8-10 minutes on either side or until the mince has browned. *Chefās tip: Alternatively, cook the patties on the braai. Cook on hot coals for 7-8 minutes on either side.
